You think we are all equal and we all use the same internet bandwidth? Why is it we are currently allowed to buy Lite internet and Extreme High speed internet? Not neutral! What the heck is net neutrality about? You know that extreme high speed is not equal to lite internet so why is this any different?

mickeleh- Sometimes regulation is needed to keep the marketplace open and fair. Allowing ISPs to block websites, while charging competing websites access to their consumers will destroy the internet. In fact the internet will become a group of independent networks as opposed to the all accessible "internet" we have today.

can this become a real problem and at some point in the future actually block access to the internet?! (for consumers)

Those who do not support Net Neutrality are trying to eliminate the First Amendment. What happens is when one is in control of the places people can and can't go to on the net then they can make them only go to places that support there view. That destroys the free market. But the Government cannot intervene, they will then get the power and do the exact same thing that the internet service providers are doing.

People need to realize, as this astute young man has, that the internet is not some big truck you dump stuff on....IT'S A SERIES OF TUBES FFS!

Maybe the real question for all of us is...are we willing to boycott any company that advocates to get rid of net neutrality? I might be willing to cancel my internet subscription to prove that point. If we all do it together we can make that point!

Chris Pirillo you get so many views and weild alot of power on youtube. Can you please make a new video on net neutrality specifically focusing on the recent virgin media attack on it. We cant let this become a trend. This will effect us all if it isnt stopped soon. Please for the sake of freedom.
