When studyimg Mars, I have never encountered more furious intents to discredit an item enhancement than the photo used in Martian Ruins (¿Ruinas Marcianas?) For months viewers and I have been trying to get information about this picture all in vain. Finally, a friend provided EVERYTHING even the scales always missing in the NASA pictures, and in this one in particular.

  • NASA's photo also includes a larger field of view and a different angle which suggests one photo proceeded the other, perhaps its the same location? i don't wish to decredit you on this interesting subject, but perhaps rather than defending your single piece of evidence, the proper approach might be to find more. have you thought of trying to align the dunes on google mars?

  • Didn't you notice that the NASA's photo with the camera had the other photo split, one part on the top, and another at the bottom?

  • When it is finally acknowledged that life exists elsewhere in the universe and has for quite some time, those that discredit your work and others will crawl back into their holes. Then the age of enlightenment and making something out of the human race can begin!

  • Thank you for your comments. It is curious, not to say something else, that only this particular picture has provoked the nastiest responses. I was surprised of two facts. Some of my attackers, admited they were wrong. Some mysteriously disappeared and this one, the Swede, pjrovided me with photos that nobody else could fetch.

  • What is funny about those people that take their time seemingly to bring up a whole program to discredit one's work, if you blow their cover, they vanish in a instant. "Spies" are like that, they feel they are superior and are fooling everyone around them, one of their jobs is to keep the average person supplied with "Blinders" so evidence of something controversial is dismissed as "Scandal Sheet" fiction. Make them aware that you know who they are and they are gone.

  • Yeah, you are right. I have got about 14 of those vanishers.

  • dust..print..close up. srsly. Stop it.

  • I canot fint that on NASA .....

That you made? or you have still pictures of that mistery???

  • The shadow to the right is from the right/front wheel...which can explain the placement of shadow to the depression in the lunar soil above. If you can determine the actual placement of the rover on the surface in a 360 degree horizontal plane at the time of the photo, with information that is public access, you could then determine the relative position of the Sun during the specific time of day. If the rightmost shadow doesn't line up correctly...the photo is doctored. Trust me.

  • Its me again; Something I've been pondering about Mars for years is : The Tharsis bulge. It appears that something smacked mars a good one from the other side of the planet, I wonder perhaps if the asteroid belt between mars and jupiter used to be a planet and it broke up, and chunks of it slammed into mars causing its present day condition? That would account for Mars' atmosphere and ecology to be almost totally destroyed. Just a thought. I can't seem to find any literature on it thats viable.
