Sweetie Pie (the parrot) vs a roll of toilet paper

My parents' Senegal parrot, inaccurately named "Sweetie Pie" (she's ... ah... fiesty) has a Thing about rolls of toilet paper. We decided to capture this on video. And yes, that's my family going all silly over her.

HAHAHHAHA "kill kill kill"this is the first bird vid ive actual lol at, the fart sound and the kill kill kill reminds me of my family. how much time do senegals recuire out of the cage,  and how much time should you be interacting with them?

Senegals really need a lot of attention. The more interaction the better, I think, although this bird can spend several hours in her cage and be fine. Of course, the cage is usually sitting next somebody. Also: They are very VERY territorial about their cages. Also, they *tend* to bond mostly with one person. "Sweetie Pie" is very attached to my dad and when he's not around she gets very flustered.

Just to let you know, the glue in the cardboard is TOXIC to your bird. Don't let your bird touch the cardboard. Hillarious video. :3

that fart sound at 0:20 made me laugh so hard i farted. zomg she is too freakin cute. I bet you have a lot of joy in your life with her around. I don't know that my life would be as interesting with out my tiels.

My Senegal does the same thing with our cylindrical pillow. Once I was holding an empty pill bottle and he just about had a heart attack. Eye flared whiter than I have ever seen. He rolled, chewed, and threw the bottle up in the air for hours. I do not understand what he thinks he is doing, do they generally have to fight rolling objects in the wild? Although he is a little dumber than my other bird I think my parrot is pretty kool. Even rolls over he likes his belly scratched like a dog.

My parrot likes an empty plastic water bottle. Put something in it that rattles. He goes nuts chasing it around the floor.
