@6073114 no problem. What I meant by that comment is everytime somebody in Northern Ireland does well on the world stage i.e cara dillon, and to more of an extent george best. the great footballer. (please google if you do not know him) the british claim that they are british. The english media will try to claim anybody famous that is from the north of Ireland. As far as Im concerned if you were born in Ireland either north or south you are Irish. Northern Irish if you please but Irish.

@6073114 I actually hate how amazing music videos and performances, without a doubt, have comments on Irish and English hatred. I mean, most people don't even appreciate the music, they just want to bring up the past. I'm English and I love Irish music and musicians etc. I don't understand why there's a big fuss over ruining videos...go get a chat room started up for that.

irish music means a lot to irish people wherever they live, and however they identify. my grandparents were irish but it was the irish i grew up with in england so i feel like a cultural mix. i'm not 'as english' as english friends nor am i 'as irish' as my irish family who live there. i love the music and the culture and support the irish in a historical manner, but hate just detracts from your spirit, it's been too long now, sometimes you gotta sit back and enjoy the beautiful music.
