I have a question. You were showing the the horizontal line test method with 3 examples. The first example started with a vertical line test and since it failed you said it wasnt a function but just a relationship. On the second example it passed the vertical test but failed the horizontal. So why did you call that one a function? I couldnt hear what you said sound like something fell in the background for example 2 explanation.

Yes, the second example passed the vertical line test, therefore it is found to be a function. The horizontal line test checks to see if a function has an inverse function. In other words, the horizontal line test checks to see if the function is 1 to 1.
