The NEA and its affiliates are effective advocates because we have power. And we have power because there are more than 3.2 million people who are willing to pay us hundreds of million of dollars in dues each year!!

The 'power' and 'money' he is talking about are used to help protect the people charged with the responsibility of teaching your ignorant spawn of stupidity. Listen to the whole speech people, this snippit is completely out of context. Poorly written portion of his speech but out of context none-the-less.
Oh, and the next time you see a teacher ask them how much the 'money and power' mean to them when buffoons like you start attacking their profession.
