  • Thanks Lisa - as always very informative. I'm wondering if you have any clues on how to lock down the pdf ebook for anyone wanting to self publish, market and sell their works online?

  • You mean other than password protecting and disabling the copy feature like I did in the video? Unfortunately if people want to print and sell your book, they will do it, but there are things you can do to deter it. I have a link at the bottom that says "Contact Me if someone sold this book to you." You can also add a copyright statement for legal reasons. Of course that won't prevent everyone, but just remember, you legally own your content and have the right to pursue violators.

  • I published my book....made the EBook...which looks awful..it has almost 500 pages...over 100 pictures...footnotes...and more! Not an easy job. Yours is by far the best instructional video I have seen thus far (and I've seen hundreds). Well done and many thanks...

  • excellent information.

  • Thanks for this awesome tutorial, would you happen to know a way of using custom page numbering? Like I don't want the cover page of my text to be numbered as 1, I want it to be numbered as C.

I've seen the results of this from online but I'm trying to figure out how it was accomplished at first.

  • I appreciate this knowledge. Thanks. I am sharing with my clients.

  • I love your video, thank you for this.

  • This is late...but. I absolutely love your website :-)

  • I'm using Adobe Acrobat 10. How do you take off the arrow button that appears on the bottom left of all the pdf pages? It's a button that enables the content in order to view it. When I first open the file that has all the these pdf pages, all the pages don't show right away. They have to be activated by pressing this arrow button. When I try to use these pdf files with a 3D Magazine program, the arrows are still there but no longer have a function in the 3D Magazine program.
