nationalist and proud i tell you this is a good idea
next we should ban muslims and there load speakers from mosques because it really pisses me off and it ecohs for miles and makes our country sound and look like the middle east we suppoed to be hearing church bells
-
@sammyboyman12333 why because you like having culturs and regions forced in your face and made to accept it or your deemed racist/bigot?
-
its offencive and racist for and athiest bud but its skay to have a muslim only school? i am puzzled

i find aethism as closed minded as being religious i think a healthy respect for faith and science and humanist beliefs is best for the mind. By going totally into one side you become just as bad as the other because in actual fact even though atheists dont believe in religion, it kinda is one in itself just with out a set of rules or saints. Also science itself can be seen as a religion so I believe if you truly dont want to be under the control of a big belief system its best to be apathetic

This has restored my faith in ordinary Britians, and liberalism, NEVER LET THE BNP GET INTO POWER!

I hate it when people say things like "advertising Atheism offends religious people". Advertising religion offends me if that's the case, everyone is allowed an opinion so don't moan about what Atheists do when your religious sect is doing the same thing!
-
anyway.... on this issue, i don't have a problem with them 'advertising' any religion really, although how necessary it is is quite questionable. the money's probably better spent on worthwhile causes. i like the comment about it provoking analysis and i am all for thinking more about our spiritual beliefs/ethics, apathy is definitely worse than atheism.

@eitoobmiz - nowhere does really, but they like to make you think you do. at least we're freer than most
The statements that we shouldn't discuss religion or politics is pure crap. We should question everything, how else are we going to learn, I see where people are coming from, but for me I think we've lived with secretive bullcrap long enough, as an atheist, nothing is sacred, that's the way it should be. Saying that people's feelings should be respected, but I also think that religion does not respect me either. Why should they, they have a good thing going, tax free, collecting money and all.

The only arguments were that beliefs should not be forced upon anyone. No one is forcing anything, if your filter is broken that's your fault. I'll tell you what is forced, in Britain taxpayers subsidize churches and most other places they are tax exempt. That's forcing ideas on people.
