  • hey i went to a dj store the other day and they explained the following to me

the djm 800 is much more robust and widely used compared to the korg zero4. it is the industry standard and when you walk into a club you will know wat you are djing with.

but on the other hand the korg zero 4 has much better developed effects. it also has the advantage of the nearly total midi controllability, and together with the built in sound card, you get all the features in one box!

    hope that helped

  • Ok, how is this not the top mixer right now? It has almost all the DJM800 and Evo4 have, but its half the price.

Pretty sure this will be my first club mixer when I add turntables to my controller set-up.

  • @DJVBasil haha poor you..thanks for the comment good thing im getting a macbook pro lol

  • ONLY BUY THIS PILE OF JUNK IF YOURE USING A MAC. DONT BUY THE PILE OF SHIT IF YOURE USING WINDOWS.

  • can you hook up electronic drums to this?

  • My Question Is I am about to buy a mixer Preferably the Pioneer 909 but I see this and I think the mixer sounds cool also. I spin trance and house so what do you think I should get for that kind music I spin ??

  • quick question... what's the outputs on the rear of the mixer. I bought a korg km-402 about a year ago, and it's actually pretty good, but It's really not for use outside of your bedroom/ houseparty. does this have XLR out? my korg only has rca master out and I'd definitely upgrade to this if it had XLR, though I would miss the kaos pad, which is just great fun.

  • @slytown ive been using this mixer for about a year now and pretty much the only time i get bad sound out of it is with a dirty vinyl or a shit audio file (use really good quality mp3's or wav's if possible). my biggest problem with it is that the auto bpm counter is kinda crappy and a lot of the effects require the mixer's knowledge of the bpm. i find myself hitting the "tap" button more frequently than i'd like to. effects are awesome tho! there's so many possibilities

  • @MrDigitalDeath yeah you can use cdj's. you can run with it ableton too. i have one with just a couple of tech 12's hooked up but it has input settings for pretty much anything.

  • @JuliusKienlein Can you se it with 2 cdj's?

or do you need software such as ableton live?

  • Let me know if you run into any problems with it. Iv'e heard some horror stories of hiss and poor sound quality.

  • sorry just thought i'd comment again lol.

the possibilities with this mixer are more infinate than other due to having effects on each channel as well as master effects! its all a bit overwhelming at first but you soon figure it out. then it hits you! the possibilities with this thing are like no other1
