WWII Top German Snipers

Snipers are excellent marksmen. They can kill from long distances with out the soldier knowing what hit him. The Wehrmacht snipers were feared by allied soldier. Most notable was the action in Normandy. The Germans would leave snipers behind to hold up Allied advances. German Snipers would not surrender until they were out of bullets.

I love Germany. I love the German military styles/tactics of WWII. I am happy, however, that Germany lost the war. I love their guns, I love their style, uniform, attitude, and many other things. But i do NOT love the slaughter of innocents, and the iron-fist ruling style of Hitler.

Aside from the evils of the nazis and their buddys, the Germans were superior in every way martially speaking.

The Germans were better fighters and more professional in all they did. In the words of Colonel T.N. Dupuy ( one of the greatest modern strategists ) " 100 Germans were the effectiveness equivalent of 200 or more Russians comparably equipped." Continuing.. Col Dupuy said " The Germans were not smarter, braver, stronger, nor more highly motivated than their opponents.......

@MrAvraham1 Yes, but it was not the common russian who was to blame for that. The soviet system was to blame, they literally threw men into battle without any arms, ammunition and even clothing sometimes. Go figure. No other race on this planet would have endured and survived what they went through. The russians are the most resilent humanbeings alive. You could not begin to imagine the suffering they went through at places like stalingrad and leningrad.
