Wow I never knew that McCain was on that ship. He very lucky to be alive. I saw that same film when I was in the Navy and before I went on the USS Midway. Learn something today

John McCain Was the pilot of the plain that fired the missile. I never heard of any safety pin story. But I do know one thing is that all armed forces are train to recognise that the finger is the safety. He pushed the button!!!

The man depicted jumping from his plane in this video is not McCain. It is Dave Dollarhide. He broke his hip and elbow in the fall.

Whoever edited this video to make it appear to be McCain should be ashamed of themselves.

Im a McCain supporter, but ive checked my sources. Martel1946 is correct, I looked it up in several encyclopedias which say the exact same thing.
