I used to watch this station in Rochester, where it had a translator station that became the current Fox station. I wish I could get the "I did it again" commercial with the guy in the radiation suit talking about how he crossed something with something else and burned out the high particle sheild lining, or something like that; ending with "Give me the old west."
There are days when I can relate to that guy.

After TV Heaven 41 the ownership started a TV Heaven network I believe in Florida and tried to sell it to stations nationally. It didn't last very long. I believe the TV Heaven format was used for the first Nick at Nite format. KXLI was definitely an interesting place to work. I worked there for 5 years during both KXLI and TV Heaven.

These are great - Dr. John doing station IDs!! You couldn't have asked for a more hipper musician!

A word about the producer, the late Honest Tom Pomposello. When I knew him - in the 1960's - he ran a tiny record store in Huntington, New York, "Kropotkin." Tom was so enthusiastic & knowledgeable that I'm still listening to musicians he recommended. I still have one of Tom's own LP's. I was as unaware of Tom's subsequent successes as I was of Fairport Convention when Tom said, "Take the album home, play it, love it, & come back and pay me whenever." Just a great guy; nice to see this.
