I love this sport, I'd love to learn how to free-dive/apnea. Did you teach yourself with exercises or have a trainer or class you went to? How long did it take you get familiar with holding your breath? Last question, how long does the average apneist hold their breath for?

Most of us wear freediving wetsuits made by Oceaner (a local company in Vancouver). I wear a 5mm in Vancouver most of the time. Freediving wetsuits are much warmer than scuba suits.
