The Tiger Lillies Freakshow by Sebastiano Toma

Where is the freak in us? How big or how small one has to be To understand this world and be part of it? Are six arms enough to comfort someone? How many hearts must a women have to live her destiny? Is our hand big enough to hold vereything we want?
How many red noses do we have to put on to be fanny? Or may be the red nose has to be as big as a circus tent? A freak amazes us,because he doesn´t fit in the norm. Because he is a giant or has three legs. From time to time we see something fascinating without fully understanding it. We have to scratch under the surface. In our show all kind of freaks come together, like the „Dreamer, the „Avarice Man, „Amanda the woman with the world´s longest hair, the siam twins ans many others. „The Tiger Lillies Freakshow is like a sharp knife either opening a package full of sweets and nice things for you or stabbing a pinkballon in front of your eyes. Both of these possible scenarios are accompanied by the music of the Tiger Lillies.
And the knife is called Martyn Jacques

Dov'è il freak in noi? Che altezza deve avere un uomo per capire questo mondo e farne parte? Possono bastare sei braccia per consolarlo? E quanti cuori deve avere una donna, per sopportare tutto il suo destino? La nostra mano è abbastanza grande per tutto quello che vogliamo? Quanti nasi rossi bisogna mettersi per essere divertenti oppure il naso deve essere grande come una tenda da circo? Un mostro ci provoca stupore perché non corrisponde alla norma. Perché è un gigante oppure ha tre gambe. Ma qualche volta siamo anche affascinati dalle cose che non riusciamo a riconoscere subito, poiché nascoste, sotto la pelle o in testa. Ne abbiamo riuniti molti, il "sognatore", l'"avido di denaro", la donna con il collo più lungo del mondo, i gemelli siamesi e molto altro. Il "Tiger Lillies Freakshow" è come un coltello affilato che apre un pacchetto pieno di dolciumi e belle cose e che a volte invece fa scoppiare il palloncino rosa proprio davanti ai nostri occhi. In entrambi i casi accompagnato dalla musica dei Tiger Lillies.
E il coltello ha un nome: "Martyn Jacques"
