Izakaya are probably the best place to eat in Japan. Lots of funky, cheap + delicious food, plus all the menus have pictures so even if you can't remember any of the Japanese names you can simply point to the pictures!

  • you are a genius... jus watching ur vids made me start planning a holiday in japan next year =]

  • @GenkiJapanNet You too!?!

  • Your videos are really good.

=) They help teach me about places to go and things to try when I go to Japan.

  • I always assumed the japanese diet would be perfect for me as I am avegetarian, but will on occasion eat fish, so I'm kind of a fake vegetarian.

but obviously japanese meals have become westernised to a certain extent, how much meat do you eat daily in japan?

compared to the traditional english diet of almost every meal centered around a meat dish!

  • Everyday! ; )

  • man your videos are awesome cannot begin to say how enlightening they are. Love JAPAN! ; )
