The Fun Palace from 1990s Annihilator Album Never, Neverland.

Fun track to play along with. Jeff Waters surely is one of my favorite Riff writers.

This is the first Video I record with the Xiphos XPT-700-XH-GSF. Was worried first when I ordered it because everyone was bitching about the tremolo system. So far I am happy with it I don't care if it's an original FR or not as long as it holds the tuning sufficiently - and that's the case. I would describe my tremolo usage as normal, as I play a lot of Priest stuff. I don't overdo it as in some SV songs etc.

The high-fret access is insane on this guitar. I don't have huge hands so on most 24-fret guitars the higher frets are tough to reach. Here it's just perfect up to the 27th fret.

  • hey, you know how jeff makes that perfect * wauwwauw * sound , on the 2nd string 15th fret i guess you play it ? is it a artificial/pinch harmonic or just purely a very high bend?

  • I have never seen a live video of this so I am not sure. But for me it sounds just like a high bend. Maybe combined with a pitch harmonic? But I think that might sound different.

  • you´re goooood man, playing jeff waters isn´t easy at all

  • Badass playthrough. I would give ya 10 stars if I could.

I'm currently working on learning this song myself. Doing it by ear, so it'll take me forever to figure it out... but I'll develop my own style in the process

  • The rhythm is more difficult then most bands solos!

  • HEY MAN CAN YOU LOAD UP A TAB OR SOMETHING FOR LEARN THE SOLO OR MAKE A VIDEO EXPLAINING IT? PLEASE :)

    THANKS

  • @cowboyfromgel Powerdrain- Simplest Annihilator song, yet also the most tricky simple one.

  • Please Tab :P

  • Dude...Let me guess......You got the tabs from songsterrXcom(replace X with dot)? =)

  • @EchoedTears He picks the string and then taps the note 12 frets higher so it becomes a harmonic.

  • @ivankovicdaki if you go for the 24 frett one it should be about 700-900$ and 27 frett one is like 900-1200$

thats just a rough estimate from what ive seen. my 24 frett Xiphos costed 900 that was case and a lifetime warrenty included

  • you look like youre totally bored
