@lavoie84qc Well the problem isn't with the developer not moving forward. I mean it's agreeable that the game itself visually is stunning beyond belief. but i suppose the best way to often make something so good is having to mix a bit of "old school" mechanic to make it work efficiently. Albeit there's nothing wrong with trying something different, and i suppose this is a huge step forward to what most MMO's lack. small steps like these create bigger opportunities for other games.
@n00bonastick very true, developper have to move forward on that point and click battle system like WoW. It was very good in its time but im sure they can make a proper free combat MMORPG like Vindictus. You put Vindictus combat system with WoW world and ArchAge graphics and you got the perfect MMO.
@TheTrampolineMen Now, I agree with you that hotbar games are boring. That's just my opinion.
HOWEVER, some do take actual skill. Go into a raid in World of Warcraft with the best gear in the game and not have a good group and you'll get molested.
@albericosa why? cause i don't like the old tab combat where you press a button to attack, then press more buttons to do your dumb special moves? yeah, i'm really sorry i don't like a game which requires no skill in its combat system... annoying bastard.
to be honest. as nice as this game looks. the concept of building houses and such is an old UO mechanic. the boat battle system is interesting. the graphics is astoundingly detailed. but the game play mechanic is really rubbish. click/tab target is just really boring and easy to predict. It's not to say that the game may not do well. but it definitely took 2 steps forward and 1 step back. hopefully the content/pvp will be equally enjoyable.

@albericosa He is right. That stupid hotbar combat is so boring. Any retard can be pro with it. And hunting in this game sucks balls big time.
