A beer for Obama/

Reflecting on the election...

I didn't really support Obama in the campaign, and I almost blew off voting, but when the time cam, I knew what I had to do and voted for the man. The Republicans had to go. This election shows that American democracy still works. It shows that Americans will act to turn their government around when they see it spinning out of control, and it shows that anyone in America really and truly can grow up to be president.

I think that this election is one of the best things to happen in our country in a very long time, and I wish our new president well. If he does not end the war in short order, then we will have to part company. But tonight I am having a beer for Obama and for everyone who voted...
