Firing up the "Loiusville". My 1975 Ford L700 Dump Truck. I found this in Western NY not running, not driveable and ready for scrap. I don't know if it was worth saving but it was fun to work on. It's a 361 gas job with a 5+2speed. Enjoy.

  • What's the lever coming out of the top of the steering column? Trailer brake?

  • That is the trolley valve- which is just a hand valve for the service brakes.

  • @idriveabluetrucknow IIRC the brakes on the drive axles Eh?

  • Geeze, learn to run a manual choke, if it's loping push it in some!

  • @redneckhooligon85 I think it's a hinge out of an old door :-D

  • @idriveabluetrucknow i looks like its worth saveing if it runs good and will dump

  • This truck actually has a 391 not a 361. I bought it from the guy who made this video and he was told it was the 361 but found out different when some parts didnt fit. And it has a holly 2 barrel on it.

  • hmm,,,, not to sure about the accelarator pedal lol

  • @ford9572 One version of the 361 I read was 159 HP and 435 FP of torque.

  • What is the horsepower and torque on the Ford 361 V8? And is that a 4 barrel carb?

  • I love the hinge gas pedal. haha
