I believe that Prosperity Christianity is an intensified version of the true function of religion, that is; Fleecing the Flock. Grifting for God. Stoic Soldiers of Sophistry.

Prosperity Christianity is a disgusting doctrine designed to make it's pitch-men/women rich........ Nothing more.

Same as it ever was...........

Lending the stamp of righteousness to greed and avarice.

To quote John Kenneth Galbraith:

People have completely changed the main message not only in Christianity but all religions. There is one message in all of it...that is LOVE ALL, FORGIVE...We are all one people, there is no separate!!! It is only how you choose to see it. Money is an illusion. It's the greedy people at the way top who control all of this, and they know exactly what they are doing; Instill fear and hate. All of the money hungry people who control us would come toppling down if everyone applied love all around.

@1954phyllis there is a god? prove it. Have I helped the needy lately? My wife and I buy used wheelchairs and walkers at estate sales and give them away to those in need weekly. I send clothes to city mission every winter, I call when I see someone broken down on the highway, I advocate that the wealthy pay more in taxes so "the needy" are fewer. As for ministers and the gospels? Total snake-oil salesmen. Religion is going to be the death of us all. I reject it and I reject your phantasm.
