Cage is a leftover from the Back To The Egg recording sessions at Spirit Of Ranachan studios. The song was then remixed in 1980 to be part of the "Cold Cuts" project that was never released.

I think that Paul is insane for never having given this song a proper release. I think it's one of his best.

This is probably (along with Lindiana) his best unreleased track, I cannot understand why it was taken off the album. It is fantastic. Could have easily taken off another track 'to you' for example. This is multi parted and adds some more fun to the album.
