Are you referring to Brian Dunning. So a man that takes the time to do the research and determine who is trying to pack people full of lives is a "know-it-all"? If he has a bias, he keeps it out of his podcasts. Look up the show and listen - this is a man conducting proper skeptical inquiry. An open mind tempered with rationality, logic and common sense.

I got a new one for you. How about 12 Step treatment call alchololic/narcotic anonymous. They have not help a milliiong people? what about 5 out 100 stay in the program. That does not seem too atractive to me. Beside there is no science, they just want us to pray and do some faith healing.

Saying that "I'm just the guy asking questions" isn't a childish debate technique if you are, in fact, just a guy asking questions.

true people should ask more questions and stop being such sheep. Believe it or not one can be TOO skeptical, i mean people used to believe the world was flat and that the universe revolved around us. Although religion had a lot to do with that whole mess. Still it becomes dangerous to stop asking questions and to hold on blindly to your beliefs no matter how right you think you are.

"I'm just the guy asking questions" usually really means "I can't answer your question" when asked to provide evidence for a claim. Its a cheap way of making an accusation without having to back it up.

"Is your mother a whore? Now I'm not saying she is a whore, I'm only asking questions"

That's not true. I've never heard anyone use that phrase in that context. If I say to someone, "How did WTC 7 collapse?" And they say, "Oh you're one of these conspiracy theorists who thinks the government is behind everything, aren't you?" And I say, "No, I'm just asking questions." How is that a childish debate tactic? That's the truth, all I'm doing is asking a question.

9/11 "truthers" love asking questions. They hate it when you give them answers though.

Fox News go in for the "I'm just asking questions" butter wouldn't melt nonsense all the time.

I'm just saying that it's not a childish debate tactic to say you're just asking questions if that's in fact what you are doing. You can't deny that there are some questions surrounding 9/11. There's nothing wrong with asking those questions. And I don't understand your last sentence at all. Rephrase?

It is not a childish debate tactic if properly used. Rogan is not using it properly. Whenever someone confronts his conspiracy nonsense will cold hard facts and logic, he weasels out by say "Hey, I'm just a guy asking questions." More often than not, he is not asking question - he is making bold statements and wild assumptions. he tries to pass them off as rational inquiry, but it comes off just as Brian called it - childish.
