This is an investigative report and promotional piece I did on UWRF's annual volunteer mission trip program known as "Destination."
I "embedded" myself with one of the four trips, which traveled to various parts of the US. I reported from the Greensburg, Kansas group, which specialized in sustainability and massive tornado relief.
Currently this is my most ambitious project, and took several months to edit several hours of footage into a 6 minute piece. The last minute and a half is a promo for the promo. Enjoy!
UWRF's Alternative Spring Break Program is known as DESTINATION. As part of DESTINATION, students learn about social issues and serve in another area of the country during their spring break. By learning about issues and having a direct service opportunity, DESTINATION gives participants not just a chance to volunteer but the knowledge to become lifelong active citizens.
