Short History of The Hubertus Knife Company - Solingen, Germany

This is from an interview I did in 2007 with Henning Ritter who with his wife runs Hubertus in Solingen, Germany. It takes place in the showroom of the Hubertus factory.

There is a lot more footage that we did with his insight into general Solingen knife history that will come to light in some other documentary shorts in the near future.

Hubertus quality poor.Bought many knives from Henning and Beatte Ritter at the Shot show in 01-2010. Both promissed they would deliver first quality goods. I paid up front. I got half 1st quality and half junk. They said they would take care of it but have made nothing but excuse after excuse to the point I now consider them lies. I had to fix nearly 2 dozen knives myself. 18 are still not saleable and Henning has promissed to replace them but so far, nearly 5 months later, no replacements.
