A simple and effective technique for lashing two sticks or poles together that would be used in a wilderness survival, self-reliance, or bush craft living situation.

  • I'm gonna have to practice this one. I have always had mediocre results with lashing branches together. The "X" notches blew my mind, that technology is gonna revolutionize my lashing capabilities!

  • Haha that is so cool, because i already knew this method and we built a HUGE hut in the woods using this method to lash the log poles together. The hut is really tough now. We're putting moss and leaves on it at the moment :)

  • @dudemyster20 Swamp beds, shelters of all sorts, stretchers, etc. pretty much anything that requires some sort of frame
