1960 Masters Tournament Winner Arnold Palmer This is a Rare Full Movie that I bought in Reel and converted to DVD. I hope you enjoy my old golfing history.
That putter with the flagstick still in the hole (Mario Gonzales of Brazil) was following the Rules of Golf as they existed at the time. Today it would be a 2-hot penalty and, of course, would never happen in tournament play, since caddies, players and even the gallery members would all be cognizant of this Rule.
@klonidier Its a known fact that Palmer ruined a bit of his career by quitting smoking. He smoked for years and then the public/government came around to the fact that smoking was bad. Being the role model Arnold was he decided it wasnt right if he smoked on the course, which would encourage others to do the same. He quit, but it greatly affected his game as smoking did calm his nerves and was part of his life long routine.
Look how different all of these golf swing are from each other? Really cool!

Hey, anyone notice the guy putting at 2:35? Holes his 25 footer......with the flagstick left in the hole!

@staunchx I noticed that too. I'm convinced they all did that to calm their nerves, same thing in baseball with the chewing tobacco back then.

Great commentary, you can listen to it and feel as though you're actually on the spot :).
