he is fighting the mighty fodera 5 string wide neck 35` scale...i think...

wooten is playing the easiest 4 string bass made especially for slap...
i love genus on bass...he grooves harder than wooten and is at least as intelligent as wooten is. (on the bass)

I think that bass solo is great and crucially placed - It provides a massive amount of contrast to the business of the other sections and just because it was simple doesn't mean you can't focus on how rediclously good his timing and sound were!

my favorite part is right as michael is coming out of the duet with chambers, chambers actually lifts off his drum throne to punish the two cymbals on the right @ 3:24
