In this funny country music video, Jeff Warren Johnston performs his classic-sounding, country duet with Jessica "Mustang" Graves in Austin, Texas. The mission of the JWJ Band is to please listeners longing for that "real" country music sound in the vein of traditional artists such as Hank Williams, Willie Nelson, David Allan Coe, Merle Haggard, George Jones, and Johnny Cash, while simultaneously paving new country roads.
This particular song is inspired by the John Prine and Iris DeMent hit "In Spite of Ourselves" and various folk songs from artists like Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie. Kudos as well to radio DJ Dr. Demento and satirist Weird Al. Special thanks to Jessica "Mustang" Graves for her beautiful voice and ukulele, without which this may simply have been just another one a them goofy dirty country songs.
