@1234babyheath what year was the explorer they were driving? Ford Explorer is a safe suv folks if is well maintenance now if you drive a ford explorer with bad ball joint , wheel bearing worn out tires then yes it can be a death trap....

I live in the Caribbean and to me Ford is the worst. I had terrible and expensive experiences with them. Yes they are pretty but thats it. I had two Fords and I will recommend anyone to buy .

Currently at my house, we have two Fords in my garage, we have two Fords. A 2010 Explorer Limited and a 1997 Mustang GT Convertible. This is my moms third Explorer. Hers were a 1997 model, 2003 model, and now the 2010. My family are very loyal to Fords. The 2003 model saved my mom and I in a car accident. Someone hit us going 30 MPH hit our back bumper. All the damage was a tiny dent and a scratch. We drove away perfectly fine thirty minutes later.

Amazing how all u non ford believers dont realize how much ford revolutionized the auto industry as well as not receiving any bailout money. Thats called smart management of company. U also dont realize how many employees who work for gm and chrysler (government bailout) started in the auto industry at ford. Navigator and then the yukon with a caddy grill on it. Eddie Bauer and then the no longer north face avalanche. No more plymouth. Mustang since 65 nonstop. new Camaro because of Mustang.
