The thing most people are missing is that clear cutting (not for forest fires...) is in some cases a good thing, I'm in a highschool technical program and we just clear cutted a couple acres of younger hardwood and we have some amazing grouse and turkey habitat now.

@vidarjens not all natural forest fires are bad, and I'm talking about clear cutting and taking too much without replanting. You're making an assumption, you have no Idea how much I know or don't know about the subject.

@CanadianPatriot86 you know very little about the situation here in the northwest. There are plenty of trees, if trees are not harvested from time to time they can get diseased or be at risk for a major "Natural" forest fire. trees are a renewable resource, you have no idea what your talking about.
