I bleed Black Hawks and only Black Hawks but one of the things that I really want is to have a team that is tight with the community play in the NHL and that team is the Hartford Whalers. All this big-buck big-business stuff has nothing to do with real hockey. Bring the Whalers back to Hartford!!!! I don't want to see Carolina around. Brass Bonanza forever!

True but still. The arena is smaller seating. But Hartford does need at new arena. 40 years is bit old but phx is going nowhere either. I'd say move to Hartford. Give the team back like Atlanta,Winnipeg,minnesota they got teams back. The city's r equal or close to Hartford size but who knows. Well c in future days

@Quintinsutphin The MTS centre is worlds better than the Hartford Civic Center. Hartford was not that great back then, it has gotten a-lot worse, the crime especially.

U need to get ur book up to date bcuz u said the arenas need to hv more capacity to make ur beloved bills. Alan Looper theWhalers Booster Club Secretary says in the video that the Whalers started out as the Boston Whalers of the WHA. In reality, the Whalers were never called the Boston Whalers. The team started as the New England Whalers in the World Hockey Association and not the Boston Whalers.

@allknowerofwwetna1 TV contract, which is owned by Cablevision is one of the most lucrative contracts in professional sports.
The Whalers never had anything like that and it hurt the club badly.
Hartford just isn't New York, the Isles will stay in New York regardless. Hartford since the Whalers left has become the armpit of this country, just a dump.
