Holy Bat Trailer!

The Joker unleashes a wave of terror on Gotham City with demands that Batman unmask himself. Can Batman and the Boy Wonder stop him before being forced to reveal their secret identities????

Initially, I had planned on doing a direct parody of The Dark Knight trailer with Adam and the gang voicing their own lines - instead of just using the audio from the actual trailer, which more than enough spoofs of it have done. (No one can deliver a melodramatic line like Adam West). As I worked on this it started to morph into it's own story, which I thought was interesting and just followed it thru and disregarded adhering to the layout of the real trailer. I still used Hans Zimmer's score. It's somewhat similar to the story of The Dark Knight - in a roundabout way, but with the addition of the original shows goofy charm.

Watching this makes me sad that Nolan's films (however AWESOME they are) don't incorporate any of the zany colorfullness of the comics and this show. If only we could get a blending of the two... oh wait, we did. It was Batman and Robin. I'll stick with realism then.
