On this episode of the "CookingWithDiana" Cooking show we will be showing how to make "Paella" this is a simple version of Diana's famous Paella recipe. In this version we show you how to make a basic paella there are many different types of Paella this is a Chicken and Rice version. We want you to Learn this version first so you can see how the rice cooks and get the basics of making a Paella down before we take on the Fish or Shellfish versions. Please Enjoy this Recipe and let us know if you make one we would love to know how it turns out.

Episode #37 of the "CookingWithDiana" Cooking Show.

Ingredients
4 to 5 Tablespoons of Olive oil
2 Cups Rice (short grain rice "Cal Rose rice" works beautifully)
1 Onion chopped
4 Cups of Chicken Broth
6 Plum Tomatoes chopped (if using the larger beef steack tomatoes use 4)
4 Chicken Breast chopped into smaller pieces
1 cup of Spanish Chorizo or Portuguese linguica
1 Red Pepper sliced
3 to 4 Garlic cloves sliced
1 can of peas (we prefer Sweet Peas)
1 Cup of White Wine If you do not use wine replace with one cups Chicken Broth
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
2 Tablespoons of Pimenton Dulce
1 to ½ teaspoons of Saffron(if you are using fillaments if you use the Ground Saffron about ¾ of a Teaspoon.




Optional Items
Pimenton Picante if you want to Spice up the paella though traditionally Pimenton Dulce is used

  • @SophiiesWorld Yes you can Sophie just make sure the fry pans not to deep. But one day get a Paella Pan because it does cook better in it. By the way I think you are adorable love your channel, you remind me of one of my favorite young actors Amanda Bynes. but of course you are cuter. Enjoy the Paella give it a try.
