The new Swift Sport 135 hp is a refined sports compact and the result of the first full model change since the launch of the original Swift Sport in 2006. It has a more aggressive and dignified exterior look thanks to a ground-hugging form that gives a sense of stability and tension and a big front grille that hints at the performance within. And its cabin combines essential sportiness with a high-quality look and feel, as well as, design features that heighten the excitement about the driving experience.

Higher power and lower fuel consumption are delivered by the 1.6-litre M16A engine, which Suzuki developed exclusively for the Swift Sport. The engine is mated to a specially developed six-speed manual transmission, resulting in performance that is both exciting and environmentally responsible. Plus, the new Swift Sport offers superior cornering stability and brisker, more responsive handling thanks to struts with internal rebound springs and an exclusive rear-suspension design.

  • My dad works at suzuki so he was allowed to borrow one 1 week before launch

  • cul car! xD

  • Let payday roll on :D

  • Suzuki celerio is better :) peace!

  • I bought my '07 because of driving pleasure. Well any Mini, fiat 500, Nissan, Toyota etc commercials goes for the "you are different". Guess what? It's full of mini, fiat etc. EVERYWERE. A bounce of sheeps. So I'm different and my car is faster, Suzuki rules, still for the 2012 model.

  • cool japan its great

  • @boo34rock - Well, yeah, they are! You might be getting one but they are still too slow. I test drove one and it didn't impress me at all. They are a good step up from your little 1.3 but for someone thats use to cars with around 200bhp and up and a Motorbike that does 0-60 in 3.3sec, It is slow.

Also - Our lass has the new Seat Ibiza FR 2.0TDI CR. It's way better looking, Got more BHP, Loads more torque, 0.5sec quicker to 62, she gets 70mpg average (has had 80.4mpg) & is £35pa cheaper to tax.

  • @Dabbzle You really think so? I am thinking of buying this one and I already drive a Swift 1.3 4x4.

  • Not enough power, slow as shit like the previous sport version!

  • The old swift sport feel like it really need an extra gear !!! Now the new one come with extra long gear ratio for cruising which is GREAT =)
