I hope Rangers win. Zenit St. Petersburg is a tough team, but Rangers can take the UEFA Cup home. Zenit St. Petersburg and Rangers can beat any MLS team.
I support Blackburn so i would love him to sign for us, and we could still play Uefa Cup football next season if we win our last game, but Everton finish in 5th most seasons, so guarantee Uefa Cup footy and have bigger support so they would be a decent option too, although i still maintain we have better players than them.
Yes, but he'd only play a handful of Champions League games, the majority of the season he'd be playing against weaker opposition than in the Premiership. There are tonnes of world class players in the Prem, playing against them every week will help him improve far quicker than playing in the SPL.
You could be right, but Rangers are a top Scottish team. Altidore could play UEFA Champions League games with Rangers. And he could play in the Old Firm matchups vs. Celtic.
Altidore couldn't play UEFA Cup football for Blackburn right now. If he plays in the English Premier League, Everton or Portsmouth would be the perfect squad for him(they may be able to offer him Europe football), but I would rather see him playing for Rangers.
Not being disrespectful, but he's a really bright talent, i don't think the SPL is gonna help him develop his game, the level of quality is much higher in the EPL
Altidore to Blackburn Rovers in England where he can be tutored, mentored and develop under one of the games great strikers, Mark Hughes. He will get games and be able to develop while being relatively out of the limelight in Blackburn.
