I'm joined by Colm from Grab the Loot to discuss our experiences, so far, with the Logitech Revue powered by Google TV. NOTE: The video conferencing was done with FaceTime for Mac.

  • I"m looking at the box now on Logitech's site, I notice it has no component ports, the Comcast box only supports component output, do you need to use a component to HDMI converter here? Does the box come with that? I also notice that you can use your iPhone or Android as a controller or the DiNovo mini keyboard too. Nice! Now all I need is to raise the $300 to grab one of these. :) Anybody needs some web design/graphics work? Hehehe :)

  • @Argentium009 I have a HDMI comcast box. They will give you one if you ask.

  • I think you mentioned that the Revue can be used sans cable box, right? We have over-the-air tv and Internet.

    Thanks

  • Hii, I´m from Mexico, if I buy the Google TV in USA were work in Spanish and without a DVR?

  • Hey Michael, good vids man. I'm interested in the Revue but I need to know if it will work without a cable or satellite box. I have no TV signal whatsoever. I simply want to use the Revue for my netflix account, accessing vids and pics from my hard drive, and getting vids/tv from the internet. Will it still plug and play? Thanks!

  • They just dropped the price to $99.

  • googletv is cool

  • do i need to have cable or can i just plug it n connect using my wireless internet

  • Man, you're a douche...

  • surfing the web on your tv is dumb web tv proved it 15 years ago. the only attraction this has to me is the apps once the apps get better i will give it a chance.

  • How about accessing content contained on computers or drives on the home network...?

  • interesting ill have to check out your unboxing video, and do a bit of research
