WOW my girlfriend at the time was on our highschool pom pom squad and did a dance to this song I TO drove around in MY G T O all around our little town with this song blasting.mine was a '72 . with the factory HURST pkg. and a 350 punched 30 over with 12.5 pistons a 4;11 rearend and a weiand dual quad tunnel ram with 2 holley 750's, an isky bumpstick, headers and sidepipes.4 6x9 jensen coaxal speakers and a craig am/fm casette player.man I wish I still had that car..but I still have the girl!!!

Used to cruise in my 70 GTO, 6 speakers, Foghat scorching the airways, loud, stoned on Acupulco Gold, healthy young thing in seat next to me, thought life couldnt get any better, it didnt!

This was the first concert I ever went to, it was 36 years ago yesterday, 2 - 10 -1976. I was 12 , my dad took me . It was Foghat , and Angel opened for them. It was at the old IMA auditorium in Flint Mi.I saw them 3 months later , Aerosmith , Foghat , Ted Nugent , and the Outlaws at Pontiac stadium for $10. , $8.50 before ticketmaster's charge . Foghat was a great live band!

They were a great band. Can't tell you how many nites we partied stoned to this song back in the 70's. Sloooooow Riiiiide. Good times. Saw them in '79,great sound live. Man, wish I had a time machine to go back and stay there with real Rock.
