@gmbtowing87 but with a heavy piece hooked to you,,,on a steep hill you spin out,,,the truck i have now is a twin to that one but the drives are in the back,,,,the three i had before the tag was in the back,,like this one worked great untill you are out on a gravel back road with a mixer with 10 yards in it or a dump truck with 20 or better ton,,then you get the spin out problem,,,,,if the main thing you would do with that truck is heavy recovery it would be great ,,with the short wheel base

I used to run a big truck like this, had a pusher, it sucked for the exact reason the guy said, it was soo long you couldn't get around very easy, having a tag would've been much better!!!

only problem i see with a tag at the rear is traction on unlevel ground. unless the controls for it in the cab which is illegal in some states. i know i worked for a heavy haul company had them on the rear and no dump or raise. what a messed up idea that was. and gmb trucks all over the US use tag axles most just have them at the front.
