"After the Gold Rush" written by Neil Young appears on Linda Ronstadt's 1995 Elektra album, Feels Like Home with backup vocals by Valerie Carter and Emmylou Harris and The Skywalker Orchestra featuring strings and a glass armonica. The song later was included on the 1999 Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton, and Linda Ronstadt Trio II album.
@BelRiose2000 Yes, but so what, really? It's so pretty. I like this version, too. Whose version of "Time to Say Good-bye" is best? I don't know who originally sung it, but when I hear Andrea sing it, I really love it.

@dressler37 Really? It is ok, but the original is really naked, and the lyrics express this. With all these double tracks, and backing singers, doesn't it really take away from the meaning of the song? Isn't the power Neil's lonely tenor almost tearing apart the power of this song? Have you heard it?

Didn't Linda sing backup for Neil on some songs? Along with Emmy Lou? I think it was on American Stars and Bars

I'll bet she learned to appreciate Neil Young's music while Gov.Moonbeam conducted marathon tantric love sessions with Ms. Ronstadt !!

I love this version. I love the Feels Like Home album! I wish Linda Ronstadt would record another pop/rock album with the emphasis on rock. While she's at it, how about another Trio album with Dolly and Emmylou too?
