A pair of wild Zebra finches who visit our aviery each day... they started coming about a week ago, and are now here 3-4 times a day. The budgies seem OK with them now..but didn't like them at first.
They're very cute...but not real tame. I tried to get into the aviery to film a better view of them, but they soon escaped. They fit easily through the wire.

  • Great idea! the wire is small enough to hold the bugies in and large enough to let the zebra's pass through.

  • ;) well it wasn't intentional... but we enjoy seeing them come and go as they please.

  • thats cool wait til have babies and begin bringing a little flock back to ur aviary you may stock up on the seed !!haha

  • oh! well that will be interesting if they do!! i'm not sure how our budgies will react to that! =)

  • I have mutations, bred domestically, from these wild ancestors! It is beautiful to see them in the wild. All of the species of Australian birds I have owned and bred, have been the best birds I have ever owned. Thank you for the wild video at your home!
