  • Forgotten????? I have never forgot the awesomeness of this song and Meatloaf.... I would like to know if anyone has "promised land" that maybe they could post here sometime. That would be top off all I've found here. I have it on vinyl, but not able to bring it here.

  • @biggest69er Itll be uploaded later today :) some live versions are on my channel, though. And yes it is forgotten by the general public :'(

  • never knew there was a video fer this why wasnt this on the hits out of hell dvd

  • @muntzmanj154 The same reason Bad Attitude Live hasn't been released on DVD: The studio just doesn't care.

  • @wwrangell65 the afl or gayfl as half us real aussies up north call it, should have done much better preperation for Meat, he didnt even have a warm up before it, just went in cold and not parked in a grandstand, he did the NRL GF back in 03 and did a great show for us, he also did an after show after the gayfl gf and from reports was pretty good.

  • I always liked Dead Ringer and thought that there were several stand out tracks. But it seems rather forgotten.

  • How Dare the Australian AFL put an Icon like this up in a piddly bit of grandstand and expect him to perform like when he was 30 years younger. 30 years ago he would have blown the fricken walls off the stadium. Jim Steinman doesn't pick shit to sing his songs...He picked the only bloke who could do them justice...long live the MEAT!!

  • I love this song, so inspirational and speaks directly to me!

“…Somebody bless all these girls that I never have met

But damn you and curse you after all that you’ve done

You’re the one girl I’ll never forget

    You’re the one girl I’ll never forget…”

    Just love these lyrics

  • I wish I had the voice to do a proper cover of this song. Fuckin' awesome!

  • @richd28 couldn't agree more ,absolute magic 1

  • best 3 voices in the rock n roll era since +or- 1955: Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Meat Loaf.
