  • @fallofthefleshgod

    You must have forgotten...

Underwood tariff and Income tax which defined the modern income of the government.

The Federal Trade Commission and Clayton Anti-Trust Act which hit monopolies big time and gave way to the rise of the modern labor movement.

    The first child labor laws

The Adamson Act which averted a railroad strike and established the 8 hour work day.

And the fact that he avoided war with Mexico when they were apparently being backed by Germany.

  • he's the worse!

  • One thing I agree with him though, he's an isolationist!

  • @JugheadObama somehow you failed to mention Harding, Coolidge and Hoover inbetween them.....

  • he has charming accent tho

  • Wilson` s ideas or homerule of Germans in the newly-founded states Poland and Czechoslovakia were not enforced ultimately leading to the rise of Naziism and the Second World War - at least to a great extent

  • @qrrbrrbirbel12345678 I've somewhat changed my opinion on him. He wasn't perfect by any means, but he did lead us through the first world war successfully, as well as other accomplishments.

  • @fallofthefleshgod Well, he DID win the Nobel peace prize.

  • Wilson, and FDR the beginning of the end of the USA.

  • @LBF522 the entire issue of him staying on as president was that his mind was still fully functioning. his body was inpared. it is amazing to me how so many people can try and rewrite history. he was honored and respected in this country as well as around the world. he was a great man. flawed yes, beccause he was a man of his time and of his upbringing. raised in georgia in the 1860's i would expect that. read a bioraphy on the whole man first. he was a great man.

  • I thought he would have had some sort of southern accent being a Virginian.

  • Woodrow Wilson was a racist. He segregated the Federal bureaucracy and the US navy, which were, before he came into office, integrated. His favorite movie was 'The Birth of a Nation' a racist movie about the rise of the KKK, the terrorist wing of the Democratic Party. Remember this when you think of his contributions to the United States.
