The best way to land those jumps was the tap Z as you landed. As long as the board was semi parallel you'd ALWAYS pull it off.

:P You're right, I press A rather than start.
I played a bit of this yesterday... I'm terrrrrrible xD I chose Kensuke Kimachi just like I always used to. Every time I jumped I couldn't land back on the snow right - I kept falling over! "Oooooh up tup tup!" xD
How do I land without falling? ^^

That was always difficult for me as well because You really need to somehow get your board into an exactly parallel position to the ground You're landing on. Except for when You're jumping from really high spaces. Then You're just screwed. =P
