@telephono Hi. I don't know why this waterfall in particular is called a downfall. It's definitely a waterfall, though not an especially massive one (a 30-metre fall, apparently). The standard term in Britain is waterfall.
And yes, it was bloody freezing.

Is downfall the word commonly used in the UK for what we in Canada would call a waterfall? I did not know that. Another endearingly quirky thing to luv about you guys.
