Quartet - The Secret Garden - Summer Place Theatre

Neville (far right) is singing that he wishes Archie would just go away from their home and leave everything to him. Archie is singing about his memories of his dead wife, Lily.(They are brothers.)

Rose and Lily, sisters, are arguing in a flashback about the fact that Lily (far left) wants to marry Archie. Rose does not approve and Lily is not swayed.

Hey, I used to work with Summer Place (Godspell through Barnum). This is one of my favorite shows and one of my favorite pieces. I'm glad yall are doing it justice. Keep up the great work...oh and don't go too hard on the people doing sound... ;)

I have always loved the music from Secret Garden, and this song is one of my favorites. I think all four of you really did this song justice. The voices blended beautifully.

Thanks! Even though I love many songs from the show, this is my favorite... I love the "Sondheim-ian Effect" (I want to trademark that!) with the four people singing their own thing, yet blending together into seamless, gorgeous harmonies with each other! *sigh* It's genius! I just listen to it over and over again sometimes!

I'm from the MTA forum, and I had a question- I was on stage crew for a production of this show last summer, and during a reprise (maybe... I think :p) of "It's a Maze, This Garden", there were a bunch of people singing, including Mary, Martha, and Ben- but this version is not on the cd. How do you guys do it?
