he Hindi song in quesiton is 'Pehli nazar mein' sung by Atif Aslam, in the yet-to-be-released Abbas Mustan film, Race (Milliblog music review). The song is an almost note-to-note lift of the Korean song, 'Sarang hae yo' by singer Kim Hyung-sub. The song was part of the soundtrack of a 2005 Korean tele series titled, 'Kwae-geol Chun-hyang' (Delightful Girl Choon-Hyang or Sassy Girl Chun Hyang). This lift is very similar to most of Pritam's other recent cases - shockingly direct, right from the tune, backgrounds et all! Wonder who's providing all these CDs to Pritam!

I heard Pehli Nazaar Mein for the first time yesterday and loved it, but within two bars was reaching for My Delightful Girl Chun Hyang soundtrack wondering if they had the same composer. It's a complete rip off! I have to admit that I love both versions though.

Unfortunately I heard the indian version first and fell in love with that song right away because I almost understand everything, and now discovering that it was plagiarized it's really really really disappointing...shame on those cheap people who just take other's work and don't even credit or aknowledge them...

i honestly dnt dislike hindi version of this song but i much prefer to listen to the original version even if its in a language i cant understand i just love it :D
by the way if any indians here are not aware of korean drama and movies believe me as a fellow indian myself you are MoST definately missing out on some great entertainment.

while i was watching this drama chung hyang which i must say *pure entertainment* although a bit of drag towards the end i was literally banging my head to kno where the heck hav i heard the title song of chung-hyang then wit a little bit of googling i came across this seriously isnt there raw talent left in this world anymore .
