415 meter headshot using .308 sniper rifle.

Savage model 10FP tactical rifle w/accu-trigger - fitted w/AWC ThunderTrap™ suppressor shooting a steel silhouette at Clark's range near Shreveport, LA. Optics used, SWFA 16x42ss 'Super Sniper.' Ammunition used was Federal Gold match 168grn HPBT. The digital camera was about 18" away from the end of the muzzle, so the supersonic crack is greatly exaggerated... almost sounding louder than being there.

The video is a good example of how suppressors only take the muzzle blast away, but they can still be loud. I will post a video using sub-sonic ammo for comparison.
