Reaching right into the heart of Dublin, Phoenix Park is the largest public park in any capital city in Europe. This documentary takes a tour of Chesterfield Avenue, the park's 'main road', introducing you to the wealth of history associated with the avenue. Among other interesting insights, you'll find out why the Wellington monument was built, how World War 2 affected the park, and what was uncovered when the papal nuncio's house was demolished. The documentary uses a variety of sources, including archive photographs of the park in former times, to illuminate the history of the avenue.
Great job.

Damn I miss Ireland, the parks and architecture are absolutely beautiful. As soon as I can I'm taking my family there because all they have seen of it are the pix I took while I was there.
