  • No other instrument can replace the talking drum in yoruba music. They can experiment with, sax, etc but the talking drums in the hands of a traditionalist is awesome.

  • absolutely, i have been playing the talking drum for alittle while and i have a teacher plus my many years listening to KSA. its coming along and i have impressed those who are nigerian who have heard this geeky white guy play thier dun dun in a respectful manner. This album is KSA's BEST

  • You must have a good repertoire of Yoruba idioms and proverbs to play Dun-Dun!
