Ray Goshay - Welcome Back Claudia Black

Written and recorded in 2006, I drew on an amalgamation of Cultures - Hindi, Arabic, Japanese, French and American - to revisit the themes of my album Noir. Claudia Black is the actress who portrayed Aeryn Sun. in the series, Farscape (The song, "The Ballad of Aeryn Sun" appears earlier on the CD). I wove in other Science-Fiction references, most notably a brief tribute to Joss Whedon at the end.
Rick Halligan and Dave Vaillancourt kick butt on guitar and bass respectively. The drums and percussion were performed by the indispensable George Koumantzelis. And Matt Cheney appears on banjo, piano and synth, especially sweetening the finale.
